Screen Snapp v2.5 for BlackBerry 10

Version 2.5 of Screen Snapp™ for BlackBerry 10 has been released at BlackBerry World including the Free Trial version. This new release comes with a number of improvements, additions and minor fixes.

Here’s what’s new in v2.5:

  • Added the option for the OS to open images with Screen Snapp.
  • Improved user-interface and general layout.
  • Improved screen capture technology.
  • Added option to enable or disable hub notifications.
  • Improved instant preview notifications.
  • Improved the busy indicator when processing an image.
  • Added translations for the following languages: Arabic, French, Indonesian, Italian, Spanish, Vietnamese.
  • Improved screen layout to accommodate new languages.
  • Added splash screen when loading the app.
  • Improved update process for app and background service.
  • Improved communication between app and background service.
  • Other minor fixes, improvements and optimizations.

Charger Alert at BlackBerry Beta Zone

A pre-release test version of Charger Alert is now available to download at the BlackBerry Beta Zone.
This is a beta version for testing purposes to find & fix any bugs before it is released to BlackBerry World.

To gain access to beta versions, you’ll need to download the official BlackBerry Beta Zone app to your BlackBerry 10 device from BlackBerry World.

“With the BlackBerry Beta Zone app, you can test and contribute to BlackBerry 10 beta products before they are ready for the public.”

Once you’ve installed the BlackBerry Beta Zone app and registered, you’ll then be able to join the Charger Alert program to download it.

In particular, we are looking to test the unplugged and full battery alert functionality, as users have reported issues with these previously. The battery monitoring aspect within the app has been rewritten and improved so these alerts should be fully working for everybody now.

However, if you discover any problems or have any feedback, please send them in.

Call Blockr v2.6 for BlackBerry 10

Version 2.6 of Call Blockr™ for BlackBerry 10 has been released at BlackBerry World, with a host of improvements and some new features, like access to the call log for easy entry into the blacklist or whitelist.

  • Moved the “Block Anonymous Callers” option to the main screen for ease of use.
  • Provided a call log screen for received calls, to easily block or allow them in future.
  • Improved speed and accuracy of phone number searching.
  • Improved user-interface for displaying callers.
  • Improved checks for validating phone numbers added to a list.
  • Improved checks for preventing duplicate phone numbers in a list.
  • Included translations for the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, Indonesian, Italian, Spanish, Vietnamese.
  • Improved screen layout to accommodate new languages.
  • Backup & Restore now also includes user app settings.
  • Added option to enable or disable hub notifications.

Rad Timer v2.5 for BlackBerry 10

Version 2.5 of Rad Timer™ for BlackBerry 10 has just been released over at BlackBerry World.

The big feature in this new version is the linked timer capability which allows one timer to automatically start another (or even itself) when it finishes.
This can be useful for things like the Pomodoro Technique, or for exercise and rest intervals, or as a reminder during the various stages of cooking. The uses are limitless!

What’s new in v2.5:

  • Added the capability for a timer to automatically start another when it finishes.
  • Major improvements in the way timer data is handled, stored and displayed.

Rad Timer v2.0 for BlackBerry 10

Version 2.0 of Rad Timer™ for BlackBerry 10 has just been released over at BlackBerry World.

With the biggest update since it’s initial release, Rad Timer v2.0 now includes a customizable clock screen, along with a whole host of improvements and additions to the stopwatch and countdown timer. Available for all BlackBerry 10 devices, and all OS 10 versions!
